I created ‘freedom’s fancy’ initially as kindling to keep my inner flame crackling, but almost immediately realised that it’s the rally between reader and writer that fans my flame most. 
 
So, ‘freedom’s fancy’ is growing more into a bonfire, for people to set them themselves alight by either telling stories, casting poetic shadows, doing a fire dance or simply cosying up beside the unwavering heat to be entertained by the flames of others.
 
Whatever your fancy I invite you to free yourself and get involved in this reader/writer driven space.

I have a tombola of ‘fun things for us to do’ together. You can throw ideas into that mix any time you like, just message me and I’ll stir them in.
 
Every month I will pick an activity and kick-off the journey, and where it goes us alone knows!
 
Writing amuses me, that's why I do it.

I'm a horse trainer. Poet. Explorer. Escapist. Musician. Francophile.

It's fair to say that I thrive on both stimulation overload & being adrift in space.
I have feasted upon adventures my entire life, and I remain greedy for them.
Adventure is the perfect vehicle to pose and ponder questions, to discover and discuss differences, and to flip-a-coin to choose direction, destination and what to eat.
 
Beauty is my therapy. Beauty resides in all things, if you are willing to adjust your gaze.
It unfurls inside a rosebud’s opening as the morning dew dissipates. It arrives orgasmically in a daydream, sunbaking beside the pool. It creeps like the dawning of the truth upon someone sat beneath the limbs of an apple tree. It grabs the hand, wrenching feet off the ground in pursuit of a high-speed adventure. And it leaves me breathless.
